Difference between an antivirus and an endpoint security.

An antivirus scans a computer for infections and treats anything malicious found. Endpoint security protects an entire network by making sure every device (laptop, tablet, computer, mobile phones) is monitored.

One distinct feature of endpoint security is that it is a centralized security system, which alerts administrators should a device detects a threat. This is an efficient management structure in that it relieves users of cleaning and maintenance duties. Most users don’t know what to do when their individual antivirus pops up with a notification, for example, should it be whitelisted or blocked. This problem is remedied with an endpoint system. An administrator remotely handles it, all without any user interaction.

Endpoint security is more advanced. It prevents against botnet attack, protects data encryption, and monitors an entire network. To top it all, it is controllable in the web, making management easy. Our preferred choice is without a doubt an endpoint security.
